LiminalTerms of Service
Effective March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Liminal ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on macOS devices you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Remove proprietary notices
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
4. Your Content
Screenshots, annotations, and other content you create remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your content. Since the App processes everything locally, we never have access to it.
5. Intellectual Property
The App and its design, code, and documentation are owned by Liminal and protected by copyright law. These Terms grant no rights to our trademarks.
6. Apple App Store
If you downloaded the App from the Mac App Store, you also agree to Apple's Standard EULA. In any conflict, Apple's terms prevail.
7. Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIMINAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
9. Updates
We may update the App from time to time. We are not obligated to provide updates and may modify or discontinue the App at any time.
10. Termination
Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically if you fail to comply. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms by updating this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
